PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Lacrosse is a lifelong passion of Jeremy's. To start his nearly 20-year career, he began playing for Westerville Warcats in the 6th grade and never looked back. After High School at Westerville North, he played Club at Bellarmine University, where he earned is B.A. in Exercise Science ('16). While at Bellarmine, Jeremy began his coaching career by helping launch the 3rd/4th grade program in South Oldham, KY, with his mentor and friend, Joe Richie. In addition to his love of lacrosse, Jeremy has always had a heart for service. Growing up, he spent summers at REACH mission camps, learning the value of service in the community. In college he attended alternate spring break and worked with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans, LA. If you see Jeremy out on a hike with his dog Rico, be sure to say hello!

Emma was born and raised in Worthington, Ohio. She first picked up a stick a very young age due to her family’s love for lacrosse. Emma is very passionate about giving back to the sport that meant so much to her growing up. This led her to give back to her community and coach middle school lacrosse for her alma mater. Emma graduated from Ohio State with two degrees in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and Psychology. In her free time she enjoys adventuring with her dog, spending time wither her friends and traveling.

Cam Hawkins 

Box Coach and Site Leader

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Cam brings immense passion to the growing the game and giving back to his community. As a former player, he became an All-State defenseman at Shaker Heights High School and continued his career collegiately at Cleveland State University. After transferring to Ohio State University and hanging up the cleats, he began coaching at Hilliard Davidson as an assistant while in undergraduate studies. Since graduating, he currently works at J.P. Morgan Securities and joined the staff at Hilliard Darby as a defensive coordinator. In his free time he enjoys family time, travel, and cooking

Xander Pacilio is the 8th Grade Social Studies teacher at South High School. He is entering his 5th year coaching at Upper Arlington High School coming off a 2022 D1 state title and UA's 17th overall. A 2018 graduate and letter winner of Ohio Wesleyan University, Pacilio helped his team to two NCAC Conference regular season championships, one NCAC tournament championship, and two NCAA quarterfinal appearances. He is a 2014 graduate of Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was a three-year letter winner and team MVP his senior year. 

Joe Schmittgen

Joseph Schmittgen, or Coach Joe, grew up playing lacrosse in Shaker Heights, OH, near Cleveland. After high school he went on to play in Germany for Göttingen Grüne. Currently, he still plays as a defenseman locally as well as for the NBALL Box Lacrosse team, Columbus Coyotes.

 

What Coach Joe enjoys most about coaching is bringing the best out of young kids and challenging them to be the most competitive as a team.

Ryan Boyle

Coach Boyle grew up in Dublin, Ohio where he was an All-State midfielder at Dublin Coffman High School. He then went on to play at Cleveland State University, before transferring to the Ohio State University where he studied Psychology. After his playing career came to an end, he began coaching middle school lacrosse for the Columbus Saints, followed by serving as Offensive Coordinator at Olentangy High School and Dublin Coffman. He is now is in his 2nd year serving as the Head Coach at Hilliard Darby High School. In his free time, Coach Boyle enjoys playing Golf, watching movies, and playing Call of Duty.
